Finding peace within your own mind, while you loose control..

No matter what it is called, the power of intention, the law of abundance, or just prayer,, sometimes it is hard to realign the mind to intune to what it is we wish to see in our lives. It is hard not to find that panic within our bellies when our minds turn to mundane life, and it is harder when things are seemingly going so wrong, but we want to keep our faith that all will work out exactly how we wish it. I had advice from the garbage crew (my affectionate term for vultures) that I needed to… Continue

suffering and embarrassment

When my friend came to visit, we spoke of many things. I saw pain within her that I just don't quite understand. She is my age, and has been divorced for many years. Her pain resulted from a relationship that she had over 10 years ago, and this young man told another person of their sexual exploits. Now my reaction would be completely different than that of my friends. She felt humiliated. I spoke with her about this,, but I am not sure if I got through.

I don't understand feeling humiliation f… Continue

Musical resonation, and so far so good..

In Finland, the magical practices there surround music. Drumming, singing, intoning.. It is known as a very powerful energy that can grow peace and prosperity or destroy and shatter life as it is known. There is an epic song there called the Kalevela which speaks of such singing that brought a navy to it's knee's. The Navy, just off the shore spoke of hearing above the gail of the storm, voices singing the galdor of Odhin. The Magi, taught by Odhin himself, voices raised to "sing up a storm" tha… Continue

A short note

Blessings to everyone! I know that I haven't been here long, and I do wish to post something daily across my boards, but I do have a lot on my plate at the moment. My daughter's future father-in-law has just been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. I am considering, with the rest of the family, this as a wake up call. I cannot be of help in healing if I have the same bad habits that led to this for him,, and I hate to admit that I do. So! Today is the first day of the rest of this journey to… Continue

A story of the past...

Living in an apartment, I wanted plants so badly, so I placed a variety of pots upon my balcony. They grew so well that a friend brought me another to tend to. I placed the pot in the sun, watered it well, and waited. Through the weeks a plant emerged that was not suppose to be in there. My friends and family kept saying, "it's a weed, just pull it." I said no. You see, none of the other seeds I placed grew well, but this one little plant, unrecognizable grew so strong, I just couldn't harm it.… Continue

Thank you for writing what you have. I felt your Great Great Grandfather strongly. When I feel such strong tingles I know that there is a connection. I have felt so many of the Grandfathers. At first I was puzzled. Then White Bear helped me to understand a little. And another Medicine Man called Jo Jay from the Tewa Tribe in New Mexico told me he recognised me and that his Grandfather told him of my coming. This puzzled me too for a long time. I would tingle when wounded knee was mentioned and huge amounts of energy would flow through me. About 4 years ago I visited the Grand Canyon with some Hopi friends of mine and to my amazement the Ancestors from the Grand Canyon greeted me and I wept. Its a strange journey and I have always felt a little bit of a round cog in and square hole
Many blessings to you Morgan, you feel very beautiful.
An irish saying is. May the road rise to meet you, May the Wind be always at your back May the Sun shine always on your face. I feel the energy.
