When my friend came to visit, we spoke of many things. I saw pain within her that I just don't quite understand. She is my age, and has been divorced for many years. Living in an apartment, I wanted plants so badly, so I placed a variety of pots upon my balcony. They grew so well that a friend brought me another to tend to. I placed the pot in the sun, watered it well, and waited. Through the weeks a plant emerged that was not suppose to be in there. My friends and family kept saying, "it's a weed, just pull it."
