My oldest son, Jesse, recently returned from a trip to Australia and most of the nature / wildlife photos here are pictures that he has sent me. I always smile when I remember that he was conceived up in the interior of BC in the midst of amazing peace and nature, and he has loved and photographed nature all of his life. The other photos are ones sent to me by friends from various sources. I find them all inspiring.
My path in life over the last thirty-six years has been intricately intertwined with raising my amazing six children, now all grown adults. Most of it was a single journey which forced me to grow very strong and find myself on a day by day basis. Now in the past year four of them have traveled out of the US and have all shared great pictures as well as stories, and you can see more of them on my website interspersed with my writings and poetry as I just learned how to put them up, at www.livingconsciouswellness.com. Sara has been in India and Thailand for the last seven months, and Noah spent seven months in central America, some of it in the rain forest of Panama volunteering in a Harpy Eagle release program. Summer spent a month in Costa Rica over the winter holidays. Zane is busy building his race car in Colorado, and Kyle is busy with his band and outreach work to homeless youth in SF.
